Vickie is a dedicated and organized professional with a proven track record of managing the daily operations of Cerebral Psychology. Vickie provides exceptional support to staff and clients, ensuring the efficient functioning of the psychology practice.

Vickie has extensive experience in customer service (20 year corporate banker), sales, and managing teams. Vickie's strengths are her warm smile on arrival and her ability to treat everyone as a valued client, not just another appointment. Vickie's weaknesses are she may offer you multiple chocolate treats on arrival. Vickie’s role as practice manager of Cerebral Psychology is committed to fostering an environment that allows psychology professionals to focus on their crucial work and ensure our clients get the best treatment and service.

Vickie’s journey into the world of psychology began when her husband, Matt, went back to study psychology in 2013. He would come home and tell her about these theories of runaway trains heading towards people and whether she was happy to pull a lever to save five people’s lives, but unfortunately “kill one”. Vickie confesses she found these theories a little annoying, and some what sterile, but did enjoy the long philosophical debates (or arguments) that would eventuate. So while Vickie is not officially qualified in psychology, she has read numerous theses and papers on eating disorders, depression and other disorders. Moreover, Vickie has developed a profound respect for the importance of psychological therapy, and the positive impact it can have on people's lives.

Vickie understands the significance of maintaining confidentiality and privacy in a psychology setting. Vickie’s ability to communicate effectively and professionally allows her to serve as a point of contact for clients, schools, psychologists and other health care professionals, providing them with the support and information they may require. When Vickie is not at the clinic she is either spending time with son Cruz, her two samoyeds, cat and parrot. Vickie is a blue belt in "Jiu-Jitsu", a martial art that involves various techniques for self-defense and combat.
