The first point of contact for clients phoning our clinic or communicating via email, is Carol, our warm Practice Administrator. Carol prides herself in creating a connection, particularly with first time clients, as often that first call is where a client is needing help the most. Carol understands reaching out for help on matters of mental illness can be difficult, and she makes that first step, an easy and comfortable experience for all.
Whist Carol didn’t pursue a career in psychology, she dabbled in Psychoanalytical Studies within her Bachelor of Arts degree at La Trobe University. Freud and Jung’s differences did spark Carol’s interest in the world of psychology, but a philosophy unit called ‘Space time and Cosmology’ would navigate Carol towards her path in science. Carol is a Bachelor of Science graduate from Monash University. Her interest in Haematology and Transfusion Science, drove her to a 20 year career in pathology.
Carol is a busy mum to teens, Luca and Eva, German Shepherd, Luna, and Ragdoll cat, Coco. Carol enjoys in her free time playing ice hockey, tennis with friends and going to the gym. But her two true loves are a good cup of coffee and curling up to a good read.
